The RapidoScan takes into account the number of beams actually to be activated and calculates an optimised scan list on this basis. The measurement can be further accelerated by eliminating beams. If the number of active beams is halved, the measurement speed of the light curtain doubles.
In addition to the option of deactivating edge regions, beams can also be deactivated in the middle of the measurement field regardless of their position.
Your benefits
- Deactivating unneeded measurement beams > speeds up the measurement pass
- Deactivating measurement beams that indicate a fault (e.g. smudging on glass) > hides the disruptive portion of the result
- Deactivating unneeded measurement beams that would return disruptive results (e.g. pushers on conveyor drives) > increases the clarity of the measurement information
